After I submitted my feedback on her 'services,' a rep from the company got in touch, or at least that’s what it looked like. A few days later, I received a response that basically said my editor had done her job. What a joke!

This format truly delivers! They provide access to genuine professionals whenever you require assistance. You can progress at your own speed and within your budget. Everyone I've collaborated with has been super knowledgeable and skilled in their field. There's no cookie-cutter method to their offerings; you select what you need as you go along. These folks are nothing but dishonest cheats. They've been misleadingly promoting job openings on LinkedIn that aren't real jobs at all, but rather a shady tactic to lure people into their Reedsy marketplace. Once you're in, maybe a book author will hire you for some service, but who knows?

To make matters worse, they put applicants through a tough profiling process to see if you're fit. When their site says you've met all the criteria for a profile review, you'll just get an email saying you didn't make the cut.

Then, a real person will reach out, but good luck getting any clear answers on what you need to do to qualify. All they say is, "check out our blog."

These people are the lowest of the low.

On top of that, Reedsy's customer service, marketing suggestions, and their genuine willingness to assist me were incredibly reassuring, especially since I'm just starting out as an author. My book "Surrender" tells my personal story of overcoming substance addiction, and it truly feels like a miracle. I can honestly say that Reedsy has been my second miracle, as I wouldn't have been able to get my memoir out there—a lifelong dream—without their expertise, guidance, and support. Reedsy is definitely at the top of my gratitude list today!
